The USB_RS232 cables are a family of USB-to-RS232 UART converter cables with FTDI's FT232RQ USB-to-serial UART interface IC, which processes all USB signals and protocols. The cables provide a quick and easy way to connect devices with an RS232-level serial UART interface to USB.
