With the MPW-128 M-Bus level converter, up to 128 M-Bus end devices (each with a standard load of 1.5mA) can be connected to an M-Bus master via an RS-232 connection. The level converter converts the signals coming from the M-Bus master from the RS-232 interface to M-Bus signal levels. The M-Bus master is connected to the level converter via terminals 5 to 7 (TD, RD and GND).
